Using the BaaS service

Note

To reduce the risks of loss of data in the RAM, we recommend that before you create a backup copy of the disk, you shut down the instance that is launched from it.

Note

We would point out that when creating a disk from the backup, free space is required in the corresponding disk storage of your project

To obtain a copy of the original disk, perform the following steps:

1. Request an increase in quota for BaaS to the size of the disk being cloned (if necessary)

2. Create the backup copy of the disk

3. Create a disk from the backup

4. Create the instance from the restored disk
