Setting up security groups¶
Project-specific security groups can be found at control panel (Dashboard) in the section Network.
To view the details of an existing group, select the Manage Rules action (edit) for the selected security group. Change existing groups can be executed from this interface. To create a new security group, click the “Create security group” button.
When adding a new security group, you must fill in required field - “Name” of the group. This name appears in the brief descriptions of the instances that use it there, where large description fields are often not available. We recommend using names with a specific semantic load. Seeing that this or that instance uses a security group for example - http, it will be much easier to understand its purpose.
After creating the security group, add necessary rules to this security group.
